About PPGCAS

The Health Applied Sciences Postgraduate Program (PPGCAS) from the UFG Jataí Regional was approved by CAPES (concept 3, Interdisciplinary area) in 2012 and currently, owns 16 permanent professors (advisors) and 6 contributors professors, among several contribuitons and cooperations with brazilian universities and abroad.

The PPGCAS offers the academic masters course and is aimed at professionals with degrees in Biomedicine, Biological Sciences, Physical Education, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Medicine, Physics, Chemistry and related areas. The main objective of the PPGCAS is the formation, improvement and qualification of graduates in these areas, committed to the advance of original research focused on the human health theme in all its dimensions through an integrative vision of several areas of knowledge in the search for solutions for the promotion of human health. To meet the objectives, the PPGCAS faculty has as its main characteristic the interdisciplinarity of training and research lines.
